PRS02-s, the third electric single-seater built by the UniPr Racing Team, has been thoroughly revised to optimize its weight, aerodynamic load and improve its reliability. The upgrades made it possible to lighten the single-seater by 10kg, reaching a final mass of 247kg. Translated into performance terms, the PSR02-s is capable of 0-100km/h acceleration in 2.98 seconds. The frame of the PSR02-s is a carbon fiber monocoque weighing 23.55kg that has very high stiffness and lightness characteristics compared to a traditional steel tube one. For the 2022 season, the tractive system has taken another step forward with the improved 600V battery and two planetary gearboxes coupled to the Emrax 188 rear motors. Consistent with the project goal, all wiring was also revised and improved. PSR02-s participated in FSNtherlands and FSCzech competitions where it achieved the first foreign Top Ten.
